START A PROGRAM
Mentoring
works! You understand the youth you work with; we
understand the many facets of mentoring. If you want to
begin a mentoring program in your community or agency,
we have the resources to help you get started. The
experts at the RI Mentoring Partnership literally wrote
the book on mentoring. The ten-chapter manual gives
step-by-step instructions on everything from mentor
recruitment and screening to celebrating your program’s
success.
We offer training to
program coordinators and help organizations with
recruiting and training mentors through our Mentoring
Training Institute. We help with technical assistance
and program design. Our team provides classes to new and
experienced mentors and mentor program coordinators.
Our level of support to
mentoring programs varies based on the needs of each
community. We try to make mentoring work wherever we
are!
